Founded by award-winning and published photographer Erin Nelson in 2011, Duke & Gunder Studios LLC is making photographs that exist in the fine art world, commercial environments, and the family photo album.

I want to convey those feelings in new ways through photography to make lasting impressions and produce various memorable experiences. My inspirations include Norman Rockwell, Ansel Adams, Eastman-Kodak, and the American Dream of Manifest-destiny."

Erin is a graduate from the Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, MO, with a BFA in Professional and Fine Art Photography. She has been working in photography since 2005, concentrating on large-format film and alternative processes. Living in New Orleans has deepened her understanding of preservation and exploration, whether it’s archiving your memories or traveling up a mountainside far from home to document them. What Erin enjoys photographing most is defining moments in people's lives.
